- Blue Ridge Parkway NP- VEGETATION REMOVAL BRIDGES/TUNNELS Blue Ridge Parkway NP -Removal of Vegetation Under and Adjacent to Road Bridges Purpose of this amendment 0004 is to provide the correct the correct close date: 7/16/2024 Noo ED. Purpose of this amendment 0003 is to provide the correct response to vendor questions, this RFQ is extended 24 hours. RFQ Closes Thursday 7/11/2024 Noon ED. Purpose of this amendment 0002 is to provide responses to vendor questions. No other changes. Purpose of this amendment 0001 is to clarify the Period of Performance: 7/15/2024-7/14/2025. RFQ closes on 7/16/2024 Noon ED The National Park Service: Blue Ridge Parkway National Park is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete this project. This requirement consists of; services to be provided within this Performance Work Statement (PWS), work will provide for the cutting down dead, diseased, and hazardous tree in the surrounding area to the bridges, on ramps, and over passes along the Blue Ridge Parkway (BLRI) in Virginia, and North Carolina. A second part of this project is to removal of all trees, woody vegetation, and shrubs under and adjacent to bridges on the BLRI. This vegetation poses a threat to the Parkway pavement, bridge, and overpass structures. The structures are located along the entire 469 miles Parkway. The structures are between Mile Post (MP) 0.0 to MP 216.40 in Virginia and MP 216.40 to MP 469.01 in North Carolina. The services to be provided within this Statement of Work (SOW) consist of Hazard tree removal. Applicable Conditions: Contractor is required to furnish all personnel and material to meet the requirements specified in the contract work statement. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial services contract based on the proposal that represents the best value (LPTA) to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 15, Negotiations and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 561730 Landscaping Services, Size Standards in Millions of dollars $9.5. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Pleas reference all document with the solicitation #140P5324Q0024. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. This requirement consists of (3) Base items and (3) Option Items. Options will be award based on availability of funds. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote.
