- M67854-24-I-0114� � � � � � � � � � � �Notice Type: Special Notice � Notice of Intent to Sole Source THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. �THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS), Marine Corps, Quantico, VA 22134 intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a contract to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, Kirkegaardsveien 45, 3601 Kongsberg, Norway (Government Entity Code: N0013). This effort is estimated for award in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2025. �This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) AND (B), as award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling agency requirements. � PM AAA is planning for manufacturing and fielding the ACV-30 Mission Role Variant (MRV) for the ACV FoV.� This effort will include manufacturing and fielding support for the ACV-30 Remote Turret. The Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) platform, to include the ACV Personnel Variant (ACV-P), ACV Command and Control Variant (ACV-C), and ACV-30mm Medium Caliber Cannon (ACV-30) Production Representative Test Vehicle (PRTV) are currently being produced by BAE Systems Land & Armaments LP (BAE), along with initial design of the ACV-Recovery (ACV-R) PRTV, under contract M67854-16-C-0006. PM AAA identified the vendor capable of providing ACV-30 Turrets, associated special tooling, associated training, field service representatives for the turret integration, work instructions for turret integration compatible with the ACV-30 MRV, as well as subsequent fielding support.� To meet the Marine Corps� Approved Acquisition Objective, PM AAA requires manufacturing and fielding support for the associated production quantities of the ACV-30 Turret. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. Responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, if received within seven calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis. The Government will consider all information received by the response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions become Government (USG) property and will not be returned. Contractors are advised the USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice of intent. The North American Industry Classification System code is 336992, Military Armored Vehicle, Tank and Tank Component Manufacturing.
