PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SOLICITATION: W912DR24R0044 Pedestrian Bridge Relocation Project Anacostia Watershed Restoration, Prince George�s County This proposed procurement is for construction services; NAICS 237310 �Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction� with a size standard of $ $45,000,000.00. Full and Open; Hubzone Price Evaluation Preference. Project Scope: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District is considering a requirement for construction services for the Anacostia Watershed Restoration, Prince George�s County � Site 13 Pedestrian Bridge Relocation Project. The jobsite is located north of Lyndon Street and West Park Avenue in the Adelphi Community Park. All access to the project site is from West Park Avenue. The proposed pedestrian bridge will be a replacement that is perpendicular to the stream on a riffle. The existing orientation is an angle to the direction of flow as such there a substantial instability of the stream around the bridge. The new orientation will improve stability and flow conveyance. A new paved trail is also proposed in the park to access the new pedestrian bridge. �Maps are available as an attachment to this notice. This project involves demolishing the existing Pedestrian bridge over the Northwest Branch Anacostia and replacing the bridge with a new bridge to the west of the existing bridge. The proposed Pedestrian bridge will be a replacement that is perpendicular to the stream on a riffle. The existing orientation is an angle to the direction of flow as such there a substantial instability of the stream around the bridge. The new orientation will improve stability and flow conveyance. A new paved trail is also proposed in the park to access the new pedestrian bridge. The project area is north of Lyndon Street and West Park Avenue in the Adelphi Community Park. All access to the project site is from West Park Avenue. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Construction duration is approximately 547 days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Additional information in accordance with the statement of work will be included in the solicitation. This solicitation will be available on or about 15 July 2024, proposals due on or about 15 August 2024 by 11:00 am. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge to all authenticated account holders of the SAM.gov system. Please note that all USACE acquisitions are considered sensitive, but unclassified documents. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a government contract award. Vendors must also be registered in Representations and Certifications Applications (included in SAM). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code (237310) applicable to this acquisition must be in vendor�s SAM registration. Note: Update SAM profile to include all applicable NAICS Codes associated with your company. Vendors may register for SAM online at www.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220.
