Description
The Onsite Training Purchases Team at the NASA Shared Services Center is requesting information from vendors for the facilitation of the following course: Course Title: Gen AI Instructor-Led-Training Purpose of Training: NASA�s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland is seeking qualified vendors to deliver a comprehensive instructor-led-training program on generative AI (Gen AI) for 25 participants. This program will leverage a flipped classroom approach to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to utilize Gen AI for tasks such as document summarization, content creation, code assistance, and research support Objectives Foundations of Gen AI Definitions, key concepts, and historical development Differences from traditional machine learning Applications and Use Cases Applications in art, biology, emotional support, learning, and business Real-world business challenges addressed by Gen AI Prompt Engineering Basics of prompt engineering and writing effective prompts Enhancing productivity with prompt engineering techniques Project Lifecycle Overview of developing a generative AI project Tools for building Gen AI applications (within NASA restrictions) Ethics and Risks Ethical considerations and responsible use Compliance and risk management Opportunities and Limitations Career enhancement and workplace improvements with Gen AI Understanding the potential and limitations of Gen AI Period of Performance Start Date: August 1, 2024 Period of Performance End Date: October 31, 2024 Number of Participants: up to 25 Number of Sessions: Three 8-hour sessions or minimum 24 contact hours � Instructor Availability: Remote availability for �open office hours� no less than 4 hours per week. Open office hours: 10:00�3:00 PM Eastern Time Delivery Method: In-person Instructor-Led-Training Location: NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135 Information Needed Outline or overview of training topics Pre-Work Required Daily agenda for training course Total number of contact hours Number of sessions Maximum number of enrollments per session List and format of course materials. Note:�Materials provided must be Section 508 compliant. List of platforms, tools, and datasets needed for course assignments. Resume of each instructor should include experience with using Gen AI for science or engineering applications and experience teaching in a non-academic environment. Note:�Clearly identify relevant experience. If more than one instructor will facilitate training, indicate training topics that will be facilitated by each instructor. Process for selecting qualified substitute instructors, if needed. Summary of estimated cost for training, which is inclusive of costs for instruction, materials, overhead/labor, travel, etc. Accepted methods of payment. Note:�If fees for credit card processing is applicable, please note the percentage rate and amount of the fee. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Policy to cancel or modify training.
