Description
The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract with Advanced Accelerator Applications USA, Inc., a large business, for the purchase of 60 units of Pluvicto (Lutetium Lu 177 Vipivotide Tetraxetan) for VA Western New York Healthcare System Buffalo VA Medical Center Nuclear Medicine 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo, NY 14215 This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. Advanced Accelerator Applications USA, Inc. is the only known authorized supplier for Pluvicto (Lutetium Lu 177 Vipivotide Tetraxetan). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325412 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Statement of Need: The New York/New Jersey Healthcare System Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 2, in support of VA Buffalo Medical Center has a requirement for 60 units of Pluvicto (Lutetium Lu 177 Vipivotide Tetraxetan). Capable contractors must primarily be engaged in the business of radiopharmaceutical therapy resell in a Medical Center environment. Federal Supply Schedule: If your firm provides the radiopharmaceutical therapy on GSA Federal Supply Schedule or any Federal Supply Schedule, please provide applicable contract number and identify which supply/service are applicable to that FSS contract. Technical abilities: Contractor must be either the manufacturer or fully licensed, authorized and have selling permission for the radiopharmaceutical item. Contractor shall be FDA certified No solicitation package will be issued at this time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability to respond to this requirement. Interested vendors that can meet this requirement, should identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice to Myra Florisa N. Green at Myra.Green2@va.gov by 4:00 PM EST on July 22, 2024. Interested vendors must send a capability statement, no more than one page in length; to include Company Name, UEI Number, Socioeconomic Category, brief description of your business entities capability to provide these items. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
