Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE I. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, located at Galleria Financial Center, 5075 Westheimer Rd, Ste 750, Houston, TX 77056 in support of Central Arkansas Veterans Heath care System (CAVHS), intends to solicit and award Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price, non-personal service contract with a base period to one Large Business (LB) source, Philips Healthcare. PHILIPS HEALTHCARE 22100 BOTHELL EVERETT HWY BOTHELL , WA 98021-8431 The Central Arkansas Veterans Heath care System (CAVHS) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all personnel, tools, parts, labor, transportation, diagnostic tests, battery disposal, new batteries, installation, and services for four Philips Mobile diagnostic X-Ray Systems. Contractor shall inspect, remove, install all panels, trays and low 15ah batteries and trays if required. Contractor shall provide onsite testing and service for the government own Philips Mobile diagnostic X-Ray Systems and communicate any issues identified to the COR prior to repairing or removing. Contractor shall also provide and install two batteries (15Ah Lead/Acid Battery- A521178-01) for the Philips Mobile diagnostic X-Ray units identified with low power if required after inspection to provide continual function to support patient care and operation. Contractor shall communicate with COR during all installation and testing to ensure all equipment is fully operation. a. Philips Mobile diagnostic X-Ray Systems Serial Numbers (SN) 20410298, 20410261, 21410294 and 21410290. b. Contractors shall be trained on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Philips Mobile diagnostic X-Ray Systems. Contractor shall provide and submit evidence in response to this notice its OEM training to provide services required. Contractor shall provide and submit evidence in response to this notice its OEM authorization to sell/distribute it products/services.   II. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Size Standard 34.0 III. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. IV. The anticipated award date is August 1, 2024. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. V. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes and is being posted for informational purposes only. The government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice. However, interested parties who disagree with this action may submit a letter of interest that demonstrates your firm s technical expertise, certifications, and Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorization to compete for this acquisition to provide the required services to include a rationale for why you should be considered. The government reserves the right to verify any request additional documentation submitted. VI. Interested parties may identify their interests, OEM authorization, OEM training and capability to respond to this requirement within seven (7) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest solely via email to Contracting Officer, Anthony Marion, Anthony.marion2@va.gov no later than July 22, 2024, 10:00am Central Standard Time (CST). No telephone inquiries will be accepted nor will phone calls be returned. Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
