Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS), Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems (PMS 415) is hosting an industry day on 5 August 2024 to discuss the U.S. Navy�s Submarine Launched Unmanned Arial System (SLUAS) requirement in Washington, D.C. Industry day will consist of an overview for the Fiscal Year 2025 procurement strategy �for the SLUAS All-Up-Round (AUR) support and handling system, along with life cycle support functions. The SLUAS (AUR) with a 3-inch form factor consists of an integrated Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and launch canister.� � Industry Day The event will be hosted by PMS 415 at CACI, 300 M St. SE, Washington, DC 20003.�� Attendees will be afforded the opportunity to request one-on-one meetings with the Navy. Individual meetings can tentatively be scheduled after 1130 on 5 August 2024, or 13 August through 16 August 2024 on Microsoft Teams. The purpose of an individual meeting is for industry to provide industry day feedback. To request one-on-one meeting times with PMS 415, please include a request within the RSVP (registration details below). Only parties that participate in industry day may submit a request for an individual meeting.� The Navy will provide an opportunity for industry comments, concerns, and questions. Instructions will be given at industry day regarding the submission of any questions. Registration Pre-registration is required to attend the event. The registration deadline is 1200 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 29 July 2024. Attendees must provide the following information via email to Ian Whitehead-Scanlon (ian.whitehead-scanlon.civ@us.navy.mil): Company name, address, and CAGE Code The names, titles, email addresses, phone number, and company positions of all planned attendees Request for one-on-one meeting (optional). These sessions will last 20 minutes. Registration of industry day and individual meetings will be available on a first come, first served basis. Each company is limited to a maximum of three (3) attendees due to space limitations. A company is defined as having its own unique Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. Following registration, the Navy will provide confirmation of their attendance and the logistical information to attendees via email. Directions will be supplied upon confirmation of DISS request. All questions and responses shall be UNCLASSIFIED. NO CLASSIFIED MATERIAL SHALL BE SUBMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. The Navy is not soliciting proposals at this time, nor will it accept proposals as a result of this industry day. The technical data provided with this notice, if any, is preliminary and does not reflect approved Navy specifications. The Navy will not reimburse the cost of any submission in response to this announcement- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. The Navy does not assume liability for costs, such as travel expenses, incurred by an attendee in support of this industry day. Failure to respond to this notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitations, if any are issued. If a solicitation is issued, it will be synopsized on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The information requested by this notice will be used within the Navy to facilitate decision-making and may be used in the development of the acquisition strategy and any future RFPs. The Navy reserves the right to use the information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any information provided by industry to the Navy as a result of this notice is voluntary. Please do not submit any proprietary information.
