THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AND NOT A SOLICITATION. This pre-solicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a competitive sole source firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the Ship Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) on board a Virginia Class Submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-R-0011, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov, from 20 MAY 2024 to 3 JUNE 2024 to satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirement. This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for costs incurred. This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-24-R-0011 and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204. A solicitation notice will be posted on or about 19 JULY 2024.
