- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice.� This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid.� Dobbins Air Reserve Base has a requirement to Building 729 Replace Main Chiller, Project FGWB 24-0008 at Dobbins ARB, GA.� This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business.� Set-aside is in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. Work consist of but is not limited to providing all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and incidentals necessary to Building 729 Replace Main Chiller, Project FGWB 24-0008 in accordance with the project�s Statement of Work (SOW) and drawing. �The SOW and drawing will be posted as attachments to the solicitation. Department of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, 94th Contracting Flight, will solicit a contract to Building 729 Replace Main Chiller, Project FGWB 24-0008 at Dobbins ARB, GA. This project, while not all inclusive, will repair by replacing the 130-ton chiller. Upgrade wiring from chiller to Main Distribution Panel (MDP). Replace underground chilled water piping from chiller to mechanical room. Reconnect existing control wiring. Install new strainers, fittings, conduit, valve boxes as necessary to make chiller fully operational. Provide factory startup on new 130-ton chiller. Relocated existing 40-ton chiller to adjacent concrete pad. Connect chiller to underground chilled water piping. Reconnect existing control wiring. Install new strainers, fittings, conduit, valve boxes as necessary to make chiller fully operational. NAICS 238220 Product Service Code: Z2NZ Small Business Size $19M � Magnitude is Between $250,000 and $500,000 Solicitation will be � Invitation for Bid (IFB) Contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price Period of Performance: 425 Calendar Days � NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: https://sam.gov to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program. No Foreign participation is allowed. NOTE: IAW FAR 52.236-1, Performance of Work by the Contractor, the contractor shall be required to perform on the site, and with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 15 percent of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract. The solicitation will be available on or about 1 August 2024 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at https://sam.gov Paper copies will not be available. The anticipated bid closing date/time is 3 September 2024 @ 02:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. �Bid opening is anticipated to occur approximately fifteen (15) minutes after bid closing time at the 94th Contracting Squadron, Bldg 812, 1538 Atlantic Ave., Dobbins ARB 30069.
