- Description
- To reduce the chasm between research and practice and to accelerate the dissemination of scientific findings, NIDA developed the Blending Research and Practice Initiative in 2001, which is now the Clinical Trials Network Dissemination Initiative (CTN DI). This initiative has evolved into an innovative effort to translate research to practice and to incorporate input and feedback from multiple stakeholders to make the best evidence-based treatments available to those who need them. This contract provides NIDA with the opportunity to disseminate new scientific findings in many ways, and to a variety of audiences. During the past year, this Initiative contract supported symposia, workshops, and embedded sessions at national meetings. The CTN Dissemination Initiative Contract also supports expert panels and provides educational opportunities via webcast. This solicitation is a competitive total set aside for 8(a) small businesses. We expect to award a cost?reimbursement, term (level-of-effort) contract for one base year, with four one year options, plus option quantities. Future year funding will be dependent on the previous year's performance and funding availability. The initial performance period will start on or around August 2024. You should respond with technical and pricing proposals for the entire project. Please include separate pricing for each individual option. In addition, FAR Clause 52.219-14 Limitation on Subcontracting is applicable under this solicitation, and this clause requires that at least fifty (50) percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel be expended by employees of the small business firm. Amendment 1 to the Solitation incorporates a response to all Offeror questions recieved by the deadline.
