Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) � Sources Sought Notice Only.� This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes only.� The United States (US) Government is seeking sources to determine a sole-source justification. 1. The resulting information will be used to determine if there are sufficient resources to support a sole source for the solicitation, and award of the contract. The US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice.� Submittals will not be returned to the responder; not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any further RFQ; IFB or RFP if issued. 2. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113- Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing.� All contractors doing business with the Department of Defense shall be registered and approved through the System for Award Management (SAM).� This is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidates the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, and EPLS. There is no fee to register for this site. Entities may register at no cost directly from this page. The proposed performance start date will be on or about 1 October 2024 the Solicitation number is (N/A)TBD. 3. Note � Prior to award your company shall reflect the NAICS Code 339113 identified on your SAM.� If your company is interesting in competing on this project, and have equipment, please submit the following documentation no later than 29 July 2024 16:00 PM EST, to frank.a.fogg.civ@health.mil and Mrs.� Donna Blossom at donna.l.blossom.civ@health.mil Your email response shall provide the following: Can you provide service: This service contract is required to support the Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty, NC. The Contractor shall provide daily rental of Five (5) Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) units in accordance with the technical requirements as follows: Five NPWT units shall be kept at WAMC at all times. Any unit kept on site, being requested, or replaced during the contract period shall be brought to and accounted for by the Property Management Branch. The Contractor will provide services for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. The Contractor shall provide total maintenance of all supplied items. Any required preventative maintenance shall be performed per original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidelines. Contractor shall provide certification paperwork for each medical device (See Equipment List below), ��������������������� Negative Pressure Therapy Unit minimum technical requirements include: - Unit shall provide negative pressure therapies for inpatient wound treatments and abdominal surgery sites. - Unit must be reusable between patients after cleaning and disposal of consumable products has taken place. - Unit shall provide assistance to the user in finding negative pressure leaks in the therapy dressing system. - Unit shall be compatible with sterile canisters that contain isolyzer gel, provide hydrophobic filtration, and hold a minimum of 500ml and a maximum of 1000ml of exudates during each use. - Unit shall provide notification when the canister is full. - Unit should detect obstructions in the fluid path. - Unit shall provide notification when targeted therapy pressure cannot be achieved. - Unit shall provide notification when the wound pressure has deviated above the system limits. - Unit shall have an alarm notification when therapy is inactive for approximately 15 minutes. - Unit shall possess SensalTRAC software that monitors and maintains target pressure at the wound bed to deliver prescribed therapy. - Unit shall be IV pole mountable. - Unit shall provide negative pressure therapy within 25 Hg minimum to 200mm Hg maximum. - Unit shall provide both intermittent and continuous negative pressures. - Unit and consumable items should provide and maintain a closed system for wound site treatment. - Unit shall possess a battery life of 6 hours at a minimum. - Unit shall be able to reach a full capacity charge within 4 hours at maximum. - Unit tubing and components shall be compatible with the ActiVAC.
