Description
This amendment is to answer the following series of vendor questions regarding difficulties printing the drawings attached to this solicitation: Q: I am reviewing the bid package and noticed the drawings were plotted to 8.5 x11 . Could you please get us a full-sized set ahead of the site visit? Thank you. A: The COR checked the files and there are no issues. Go to advanced print settings and change the print size. Q: If I do that, the drawings still won t scale properly for our takeoffs. Can we get a new version from the Architect that is plotted to 42x30 so that we can scale the drawings correctly? Using the ¼ = 1 scale referenced in the drawing, everyone should get the same dimensions listed on the drawing. The drawings scale accurately on the Architect s version, but my conversion of the 11x8.5 leads to takeoffs that are low by 8-10%. If there is another solution that I can pass on to my team and subs, please let me know. A: The COR downloaded the files off of the solicitation and had no issues. The Autocad files were checked by the Architect to make sure the windows set into the plans didn t slip off the scale, but they are locked in at ¼ or ½ scales appropriately so the pdf s created should be correct if printed properly. If they are printing off BlueBeam, the Page Scaling should be set to NONE. If using Acrobat, the print window with ACTUAL SIZE should be checked. If they select a 30x42 sheet but still select fit to paper that will actually change the scale in a minor way. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
