- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Solicitation Number: Notice Type: DOIPFBO240049 Sources Sought PSC Code: NAICS Code: Z2JA 236220 Synopsis: The National Park Service (NPS) National Capital Region (NCR) is conducting a market survey/sources sought to help determine the availability and technical capability of qualified sources, particularly Small Businesses, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise, Indian Economic Enterprise, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Women-owned Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Historically Underutilized Business Zone Small Businesses capable of providing the requirement below. This announcement is not a request for proposals, and the Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract pursuant to this announcement or based on responses to this announcement. Information received from this market research is only for planning purposes and will assist the Government in its acquisition strategy. As such, the Government will not entertain questions concerning this synopsis, and will not pay any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this market survey or the Government�s use of the information. Proprietary information must be clearly identified as proprietary information. The Government will not provide a debrief on the results of the survey. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended. NCR has a requirement for Monocacy National Battlefield (MONO), in Frederick, MD demo an existing space, remove and install carpet, fabricate, and install MDF paneling, drywall patching and prime/paint walls. Requirements: 1 Location: 5201 Urbana Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21704 3.1.2 The contractor is responsible for: a. Remove all existing interpretive exhibits and ancillary interpretive material from upstairs visitor center space and properly dispose of all refuse (see VC Design Layout, figure 1, demo by park). This includes walls that are getting demolished, graphic wallpaper, stand-alone exhibits, timeline, video graphs, artifact cases etc. All existing utilities will need to be left in place and have the ability to get re-used (this will require electrical work). b. Repair approximately 100 sq. ft (estimated up to � inch deep) of drywall on spaces that need a �Level 5� finish (see VC Design Layout, figure 2, section A). Wall needs to have a �Level 5� drywall finish due to a roll-on graphic wallpaper being placed on wall and need to be completely smooth, level, and free of tool marks, see Drywall Finish Levels for Level 5 clarification in attachments. c. Remove all existing carpet on the second floor and dispose of the carpet. d. Prepare and install new carpet tiles on whole second floor, where old carpet was removed. Color will be determined by park at time of submittal, but need to be similar in product specification too Interface Viva Colores square tiles (Carpet Tiles - Low Carbon Commercial Carpeting From Interface) e. Fabricate and install ~400 sq ft of MDF (approximately 50 feet long and 8 feet high) about 70 inches off the base of the gambrel style wall (see VC Design Layout, figure 2, section B). Rafter, electronics, fire system and other utilities/system will need to be fabricated around and incorporated into the wall if in the new install space. Any imperfections on the surface will need to be filled to be smoothed and level with the surrounding to prepare for paint. f. Fabricate and install ~180 sq. ft (approximately 20 feet in length and 9 feet high) of MDF walls for the �storage closest� (See Figure 2, section A). This space will need to have an access door (standard door size), with a keyed disc tumbler lock. Any imperfections on the surface will need to be filled to be smoothed and level with the surrounding to prepare for paint. g. Apply one primer coat and apply two coats of eggshell finish paint (similar in specification to Sherwin Williams Cashmere, Cashmere� Interior Acrylic Latex Paint - Sherwin-Williams) on approximately 1500 sq ft. per design specifications (see VC Painting Plan) using applicable specified color codes (see VC Design Layout, page 2). In general, everything getting repairs, new fabrication or is currently painted will be repainted. This application heights range from floor level to 20 feet above the floor. Work shall be completed within 60 days after the NTP has been issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the size standards is $45M. Interested firms with the capability of providing the requirement, shall provide the following information, so the Government can determine the firm�s experience and capability to provide the requirement. In addition to capability statements, firms must include this information in their responses: (1) Organization name, address, email address of a point of contact who can verify the demonstrated capabilities, website address, and telephone number. (2) Size and type of ownership/or company structure and socioeconomic designation for the organization [i.e. ISBEE, IEE, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), etc.]. (3) Vendors business experience that demonstrates their expertise in the above-described areas in sufficient detail, including any other specific and relevant information. (4) NAICS code you operate under for this type of service. State if/if not registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
