Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) to Hamilton Medical Inc. located at 201 Edison Way Unit A, Reno, NV 89502 for a single period of performance. The Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center (VAMC) requires a 2 day in-person training to certify six staff in the preventative maintenance of the VAMC s Hamilton G5 ventilators. The training will allow VA personnel to perform needed preventative maintenance saving the government money and equipment down time. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS or QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources that believe they can meet the requirements may give written notification by submitting capability information that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work and applicable certifications/licenses for the Hardware/Software. Capability information is required prior to the response due date and time, to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements and must include relevant corporate experience along with the applicable contract number, total contract dollar amount, contract period of performance, details of the relevant services and customer point of contact with corresponding telephone number and email address. Responses must include following information: 1. Company Name 2. SAM number 3. Company s address 4. Point of Contact information (title, phone number and email address) 5. Business size. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification. Responses are due by 12:00pm Noon ET, Tuesday, July 30, 2024. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Responses shall be submitted via email to jefferson.mann@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611519 and the size standard is $21 Million. STATEMENT OF WORK DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center (WBPVAMC) 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes Barre, PA, 18711 Statement of Work Title of Project: Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) on-site technical training for preventive maintenance (PM) of Wilkes Barre VAMC Hamilton G-5 Ventilators for six Biomedical Equipment Technicians. Scope of Work: In accordance with the following specifications: Vendor shall be responsible for all labor, travel, materials, hardware, software, training tools and aids required to provide complete Hamilton G-5 preventative maintenance certification training, per manufacturer s training guidelines, to six (6) Biomedical Equipment Technicians at Wilkes Barre VAMC. Vendor pricing will be inclusive off all expenses to provide the complete training. . A list of the six personnel attending the training will be provided upon contract award. Training shall include 1 service manual per student, and all supporting documents required to PM the Hamilton G5 Ventilator. Training is a 2-day, class 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Training dates will be coordinated and scheduled with Andrew Martin 570-824-3521 x24718 within 30 days of contract award. The training will be facilitated at the Wilkes Barre Va Medical Center. Biomed will reserve the training lab on the 6th floor. Overhead projector is available for use to display presentation. All contract requirements must be completed within 1 year of contract award date. Training certifications much be provided by the OEM no more then 45 days after completion of this course. The vendor s training representative shall send all training certificates to VHAWBPBIOMEDENG@va.gov. Failure to provide Biomedical Engineering with the training certifications will result in non-payment of invoices submitted for this training.
