- Description
- This requirement is intended to be awarded to Microsoft on a sole source basis. This requirement is for Microsoft Unified Support which is a comprehensive service that assists organizations with both cloud and on-premise Microsoft technologies. It covers various aspects, including design, deployment, adoption, and operational sustainment throughout the enterprise. The support extends to MED365 tenant cloud products and services. Additionally, Microsoft helps execute site transitions across Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), such as building Domain Controllers, Distribution Points, and Application Servers. Technical Account Managers (TAMs) provide personalized guidance, and the support team promptly resolves issues. Organizations can customize their support package based on their specific needs and priorities. Microsoft Premier Support provides the Defense Health Agency and the Infrastructure and Operation Division end-to-end managed support across the full spectrum of Microsoft technologies; and Microsoft Consulting Services has helped the enterprise adopt and implement technologies utilized at all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) under DHA administration. Military Health System (MHS) requires Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) advice and guidance during the planning, development, stabilization and deployment of their Microsoft technology solutions as it relates to architecting, developing, deploying, and improving Windows Server and Windows Client. In addition, MHS also requires advice and guidance during the simultaneous planning, development, stabilization and deployment of core enterprise infrastructure technologies such as Windows Server and Active Directory (AD) to help prepare sites for a deployment and support foundational cloud requirement of Office 365 (O365) DoD and Azure Government services enablement. MHS requires assistance in optimizing implementations, migrations, and health for Defense Health Agency (DHA) investments in Microsoft technology. The resources delivering the engagement will assist the MHS in realizing business value from MHS investments in Microsoft technology. Additionally, the DHA has been tasked with maintaining the network and server infrastructure for DHA offices throughout the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). DHA has deployed many Microsoft Products into the field which require substantial effort to maintain. In the event of issues, DHA needs the ability to contact qualified Microsoft experts for assistance. Microsoft provides this expertise in its suite of Premier Support services.
