- Description
- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office � Pacific (MRCO-P) intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed-price, non-personal services contract for Medical Support Assistant (MSA) Services at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital (BDAACH) and Various Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) / Clinics throughout the South Korean Peninsula.� As a condition of employment, contract providers must meet all applicable credentialing requirements outlined in this PWS and all Government regulatory guidelines and be fully qualified to perform independently within the scope of their practice. Required qualifications include but are not limited to: (1) Education / Degree:� The Contractor shall submit a Bachelor�s degree in any field. (2) Experience:� The Medical Support Assistants shall have at least one (1) verifiable year of experience for medical administration, office management, scheduling, or practice management within the last five (5) years in any fields. (3) The Medical Support Assistants shall be proficient in English for reading, speaking, listening, and writing. The Medical Support Assistants shall be capable of effectively communicating with patients and the MTF staff.� Verification of English Proficiency: 1) Documentation of Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) with a score NOT less than 750, which was obtained within last three (3) years. OR 2) English class credit points from a College or University (at least one (1) credit); OR 3) Proof of minimum of one (1) year working experience in a U.S. Government job position within the last five years. This requirement is for a period of performance from 15 September 2024 � 14 September 2025 (Base Period), plus four (4) one-year option periods, and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.� The proposed acquisition will be full and open competition. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 561110 and the annual size standard is $12.5M.� This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (https://SAM.gov/).� No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued, and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement.� All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration.� If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award.� Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer.
