Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Planning Forecast System (APFS) record F2024066878 was posted for this requirement. IAW the APFS record, the forecast for this requirement is to release the solicitation through GSA. This sources sought is to provide the Government with additional market research outside GSA schedules. Description: The purpose of this requirement is to obtain Contractor Professional Engineering and Technical Support Services to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Marine Safety Center (MSC) Vessel Design Electrical Plan Review program. The MSC requires Contractor technical support to review vessel design plan review activities (PRAs) submitted to the MSC for approval. This function is conducted through vessel plan review typically before ships are built or modified. The timeliness and quality of MSC's review of each plan review activity affects vessel delivery schedules and construction costs and thus has a large impact on vessel owners, vessel operators, ship designers, and builders in addition to supporting the OCMl's field inspectors.
