- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office intends to competitively award a hybrid fixed price (FFP) and time and materials (T&M) contract for Maintenance and Repair (M&R) of Gas and Oil Burners at U.S Army Garrison (USAG) Wiesbaden, Germany. The contract will consist of one, nine-month base period and two (2) option years.� Proposed performance start date is on or about September 28, 2024. The anticipated contract will be for non-personal service(s) for the preventive maintenance (PM) and on-demand repairs on the Gas and Oil Burner equipment as listed on the inventory list (Technical Exhibit A). The Contractor shall comply with existing applicable laws and regulations for equipment, e.g. Deutsches Institut fuer Normung (DIN), Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik (VDE), Verband deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau (VDMA), environmental laws, etc. and accepted commercial standards and practices.� The Contractor shall perform all related administrative actions required to provide services such as material requisitioning, quality control (QC), financial control, meetings, and correspondence. The Contractor shall also maintain accurate and complete records, files, and libraries of documents to include all U.S. German, and local regulations, standards, provisions, codes, laws, technical manuals, and manufacturers� instructions and recommendations that are necessary and related to the functions being performed. The Contractor shall compile historical data and prepare required reports. See Part 5 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional details. The regular preventive maintenance will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and the On-Demand maintenance will be Time and Materials. Please review the RFQ, PWS, and all attachments in their entirety to understand the requirements, submissions instructions, and evaluation criteria. A site visit is planned for 01 August 2024. Please review the RFQ for instructions on how to participate. Quotes must be submitted via email and be received no later than 23 August 2024 at 0800 CET Germany. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to both points of contact in this notice no later than 06 August 2024 at 1200 CET Germany. Any amendments to this RFQ will be posted to www.sam.gov. ��Payments will be processed through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system within the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) suite as described in detail in the Addendum to 52.212-4.
