Description
STATEMENT OF WORK LOADING DOCK DOOR REPAIR JACKSON REGIONAL OFFICE OBJECTIVE The Jackson Regional Office of the Veterans Benefits Administration has a requirement for the repair of the loading dock door located at the rear of building. This project will need to be conducted as soon as possible due to the timing of personnel moving into this area. SITE VISIT Contractors shall visit the site to confirm location, dimensions, and conditions of the existing loading dock door. The site visit shall be for observing firsthand any conditions relevant to the fulfillment of this contract. The site address is: VBA Jackson Regional Office 1600 E. Woodrow Wilson Ave. Jackson, MS 39216 Support Services Division Date and time of the site visit: TBD BACKGROUND The Jackson Veterans Administration Regional Office (VARO) experienced a malfunction in the operation of the loading dock door system. The loss of this system severely hampers the transfer of cargo and items from the delivery transport and leaves the loading dock area unsecure at the Regional Office. A&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. SCOPE OF WORK: This agreement of work is for the repair of the Jackson VA Regional Office loading dock door system and is intended to cover all services required by the Regional Office. The contractor shall, Acquire new parts and replace malfunctioning part, for the repair of loading dock door system. Remove and assess surface vertical rod exit device on loading dock door to determine the cause of outside trim drooping. If mechanism is repairable with parts on hand, it will be repaired. Install Falcon or equal 24 V surface vertical locking rod panic device. Install Falcon or equal 712 exterior trim. Test repaired loading dock door system to ensure unit is functioning as designed. Remove all debris damaged or malfunctioned parts from Regional Office campus. Provide all manufacture warranties and catalogs.
