- Description
- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Supplies and Services (GSS) Portfolio, Office of Supply Chain Management (SCM) is seeking proposals from contractors who can provide Global Supply outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) Logistics Operations Solutions Support within Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. The purpose of the anticipated procurement is to establish a forward supply logistics solution, the purpose of which is to provide faster delivery of certain commercial items to customers in the area. The solution will cover Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) customers in Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. The contractor will be responsible for sourcing, transporting, stocking, and warehousing 526 National Stock Number (NSN) items (note: number of NSNs may be adjusted prior to solicitation posting) and for delivering these items within 5 business days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to ordering customers in Puerto Rico within 7 business days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to customers in Virgin Islands. This notice serves as a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.2. The proposed solicitation will be a Request for Proposal under solicitation number 47QSCC24R0020 as a Full and Open Competition. All other contract and requirement details will be included with the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted in early-mid August 2024. The solicitation closing date is anticipated to be 45 days after solicitation posting. The applicable NAICS is 493190.
