- Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Belgium will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it becomes available. The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to remove and replace the working kitchen exhaust system of a residence building located in the Brussels Capital Region, Belgium. Scope of Work: The project involves the removal and replacement of the working kitchen exhaust system in a residence building. Key Tasks: Mobilization and demolition. Provision of shop drawings for the exhaust system. Installation of scaffolding/working platform if required. Furnishing and installation of all appropriate materials. Surface preparation and cleaning. All responsible sources may submit a quotation at the time of the solicitation. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions. However, discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Site Visit: A compulsory site visit is organized by the US Embassy. All contractors intending to submit a bid must attend the site visit. The time and date will be stated in the solicitation. Registration Requirements: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to submitting an offer, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submission of quotations/proposals. Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
