- Description
- The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to purchase of a new utility vehicle for the American Embassy Brussels, Belgium. This is a�combined�synopsis/solicitation�for�commercial products�prepared in accordance with the format in�subpart� 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only�solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written�solicitation�will not be issued. The U.S. Embassy located in Brussels, Belgium intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for one utility vehicle. This solicitation is not a small business set-aside. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ). Full description, scope of work and additional documents can be found in the attachements. The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price, technically acceptable. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussion, although we may hold discussion with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses. Please submit your offer prior to the response date and time. Please ensure your email with your offer does not exceed 2MB, if it does then you might have to send more than one email.�(ex: first email ending in �part 1 of 3� and last email ending in ""part 3 of 3�) All questions shall be submitted by 5:00PM, UTC+2 Brussels time on July 31st ,2024.� The USG is not obligated to answer questions submitted after this time.� All reasonable questions submitted by the date listed above will be answered on this web page. Direct any questions regarding this solicitation in writing and in English exclusively to BrusselsBids@state.gov.� It is the offeror�s responsibility to monitor the web page for any new information which may be posted until the solicitation response date IMPORTANT: The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database as per FAR provision 5.204-7. Only offerors able to prove that they have obtained authorization to operate and do business in the country will be considered per FAR Clause�652.242-73. (A Belgian VAT number must be provided by the time of offer.)
