- 36C26224Q1356 0001 The amendment 0001 against the solicitation 36C26224Q1356 Is issued to post vendor s RFIs and VA s response. Refer to page 4 and 5. Shall extend the response due date from 7/22/2024 10am Pacific Local Time through 7/30/2024 10am Pacific Local Time. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Q&A There appear to be duplicates entry requests as all are WBC tagging. Are we allowed to amend this, or is the duplicate to be bid upon as listed? Tc-99 Macro Aggregated Albumin UD 100 Tc99m MAA 1-6 mCi dose 100 Tc-99m Non =-HEU Macro Aggregated Albumin 100 VA s response: They are not duplicates. These are not being used for WBC Imaging. Tc99m MAA is what VA Loma Linda uses for Lung imaging. VA Loma Linda requires both the NON-HEU and 1-6 mCi dose. In this section all items have the non-HEU designation, but this is the only type of products we carry so this would also prove to be a duplicate and skew our bid total. Are we able to proceed with just the non-HEU products? These items are also duplicated, and we would only be able to service you properly if we know how many Curies/how much activity is needed for your linearity. Can you speak to this? Tc- 99m NaTc04 MD 30 Tc-99m Non-HEU NaTc04 MD 30 VA s Response: These are not duplicated; these two are different. One is NON-HEU and one is not. VA Loma Linda requires both. The item below is a sole source item that we do not have the rights to. Is it possible to have this product removed, or is it permissible to substitute with sulfur colloid as has been done at other VA facilities? Lymphoseek Study Dose 86 VA s Response: VA Loma Linda will accept substitutes of Lymphoseek; however, it must have an equal to characteristics to Lymphoseek. An equivalent radiopharmaceutical to Lymphoseek must have following salient characteristics: Must be able to be injected the day before surgery or on the day of the surgery; to provide optimal scheduling for patients to avoid delays in operating rooms. Must have a same or better detection of sentinel node. Must have a same or better detection rate. Must be an equal to radiopharmaceutical that can be used to exam to locate lymph nodes for patients who have Melanoma. The FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. Any items quoted as equal not confirming to the requirements of clause 52.211-6 will be considered non- responsive and not considered for award.
