Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 36C25724Q0847 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-01. The NAICS Code for this request for quotes is 334516 (1,000 Employees). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted (Large and Small Business ). The items being requested are for a contract for two fully automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) analyzers that will include onsite service and maintenance, reagents, controls, calibrators, and supplies using the Cost Per Test (CPT) invoicing method supporting an estimated annual test volume of 4,440. The items being requested are for ESR CPT testing for the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System (STVHCS), 7400 Merton Mentor Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78229. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria are technical acceptability and price. Under technical includes the ability to provide all of the requested items in accordance with the Statement of Work, provide a letter of authorization to distribute and provide maintenance services (if not the manufacturer).
