- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, etc. (except as noted), necessary to provide all components for a Smart High Current Primary Injection Test System used to test low-voltage molded-case circuit breakers up to a rating of 225A to the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), Columbus, Ohio. The salient characteristics of the Smart High Current Primary Injection Test System are as listed below: Smart High Current Primary Injection Test System with support equipment and with the following salient characteristics: 1.Shall be new, not refurbished. 2.Shall be supplied with Operating manual. 3.Shall be powered by standard US 115V, 15A AC power outlet. 4.Shall be able to output up to 2,000A and be expendable to 7478A if running 4 units in parallel. 5.Shall have three continuously adjustable output ranges: 25 to 500A at 3.5 V MAX, 6.25 to 125A at 14V MAX and 1.25 to 25A at 70V MAX. 6.Shall have a 5-digit auto ranging ammeter display ranging from 1.0000A to 99.999 kA with an accuracy of RMS pulse +/- 1.5% of reading or +/- 0.075A. 7.Shall have a 5-digit auto ranging voltameter display ranging from 0.01 to 600.00V with an accuracy of +/- 1%. 8.Shall have a 5-digit auto ranging timer display ranging from 0.001 to 99999 seconds with an accuracy of +/- 1%. 9.Shall have two ethernet and two USB 2.0 communication ports. 10.Shall be a smart high current primary injection test system for all forms of high current testing required in a substation, including testing overcurrent relays, circuit breakers, motor overloads and current transformers. 11.Shall be Designed for switchgear commissioning, circuit breaker, CT commissioning, ground grid and relay testing 12.Shall have the ability to perform high current commissioning tests as well as test low-voltage molded-case circuit breakers up to a rating of 225A. 13.Shall have software that includes thousands of circuit breaker curve TCC curves. 14.Shall have the ability to turn on at the current zero crossing every time for any load by automatically adjusting the output firing angle. 15.Shall be able to execute automated test programs from a laptop or manually controlled from a Smart Touch View Interface. 16.Shall include a Smart Touch View Interface that has a simplified touch screen input for manual control. 17.Shall include fuse, circuit breaker and overload protective devices to be incorporated in the system. 18.Shall be provided with software that allows for automated testing, report generation and maintenance record keeping of all primary injection and low voltage circuit breaker tests. 19.Shall have software that includes thousands of circuit breaker curve TCC curves. 20.Shall be able to all breaker parameters including: long time pick-up, long time timing, short time pick-up, short time timing, instantons pick-up, ground fault pick-up and ground fault timing. 21.Shall be able to record up to ten trip/ reclose operations with each trip current, trip time and reclose time recorded. 22.Shall have: a Certificate of Calibration and a 24 Month Extended Warranty.
