- SUBJECT: Sources Sought TITLE: 122 Army Band Musical Instruments The Ohio National Guard intends to issue Request for Quotes in order to award a single firm fixed-price contract for musical instruments and equipment for the Ohio National Guard 122 Army Band. Interested vendors will need to provide the following items: Yanagisawa BWO10 WO Series Baritone Saxophone, Lacquer (2) Selmer Supreme Alto Saxophones, Brushed Lacquer (5) Buffet Crampon Divine BC1160L-2-0 Bb Wood Clarinets (5) Adams A4LT Selected Series Trumpet in Satin Gold Lacquer. (10) Yamaha YTR-9335CHS Silver Custom Xeno Artist Model Bb Trumpet (2) Fender American Professional II Fretless Jazz Bass, Rosewood Fingerboard Olympic White (1) Cooperman Series Custom Heraldic Snare Drum, with 122D Army Band logo (4) Cooperman Series Custom Heraldic military bass drum with 122D Army Band logo (2) ClearSonic CSP A2466x5 Acrylic Drum Shield- 5 Panel. (3) Line 6 HX Stomp XL Guitar Multi-Effects Floor Processor (1) Line 6 HX Stomp Guitar Multi-Effects Floor Processor-Black (1) If a vendor wishes to propose alternate items other than those listed in this announcement, they must provide detailed specifications and pictures of the proposed items. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339992, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14(e)(1) (DEVIATION 2019-O0003), LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING, which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for Service (except Construction) , it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. When a contract includes both services and�supplies, the 50 percent limitation�shall�apply only to the service portion of the contract. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation will on-or-about 1 August 2024. � The solicitation closing date is tentatively planned for on-or-about August 30, 2024. These dates are TENTATIVE. The actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). To register go to www.SAM.gov. Instructions for registering are on the web page (there is no fee for registration).
