Description
Fire Suppression System Damage Repair of HSO Annex Building at the BLM Horning Seed Orchard in Colton, Oregon for the Bureau of Land Management. This notice is posted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.213-2 Presolicitation Notices and FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a firm fixed price construction purchase order for Fire Suppression System Damage Repair of HSO Annex Building at the BLM Horning Seed Orchard in Colton, Oregon for the Bureau of Land Management (OR952 OR/WA State Office). The project is located at the BLM Horning Seed Orchard Annex Building located at 27004 South Sheckly Road, Colton, Oregon 97017. Work will consist of repair and/or replace damaged flooring, wall cover, subfloor, insulation, and resurface cabinets and components affected by the discharge of Amerex KP wet chemical from the gas stove fire suppression system at the Bureau of Land Management�s Horning Seed Orchard Annex Building. The contractor shall provide necessary repairs, replacement, resurfacing, preparation, installation, and residual tasks to restore the kitchen, hallway, bathroom, crawlspace, and mechanical room to working and aesthetic condition. This procurement will be a SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued under FAR Part 15 procedures on or about August 8, 2024. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is approximately 80 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $45 million. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Buy American-Construction Materials. The basis of award will utilize the best value continuum -- lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process in accordance with FAR subpart 15.101-2 to result in an award to the responsible offeror pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1.
