Description
DLA Aviation Philadelphia is re-synopsizing the request for proposal for the requiring requirement in support of the V-22 COI: This requirement will be for a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of a one-year base and four one-year option periods to satisfy the CMV-22 Fleet Support requirements and overall readiness of the CMV-22 weapons system. The Contractor will provide Organizational and Intermediate levels of Fleet Support for the CMV-22 weapons system. This will include on-site Contractor Field Teams (CFT): Field Service Representatives (CFT-FSRs) and On-Site Quick Response Team (CFT-OSQRT) at CMV-22 sites in support of squadron operational tempos. Staffing may include up to but not limited to 22 FSRs and 60 OSQRT during the five-year term. CFTs will accompany CMV-22 detachments to Forward Logistics Sistes (FLS) and on CVN's deployments as directed by the OPTEMPO of the detachment and the direction of the Detachment Maintenance Officer. Additionally, in-service aircraft repair may be required and is only authroized utilizing Government approved repair procedures from approved Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs). The Government intends to solict and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.3021 and will be awarded against DLA V-22 COI SPRPA1-17-D-009U. The Bell Boeing Joint Project Office (JPO) is a joint venture of Bell Textron, Inc. and The Boeing Company and is considered a separate business entity from both parent companies.� The Government does not posess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform all of the required services to support the V-22 aircraft. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Sources that are not approved must obtain source approval from the Government. Please note if the evaluation of source approval requirements precludes the ability to obtain subject support in time to meet the Government requirements, award of the subject requirement may continue based on support needs. The Government reserves the right to add, delete, or change any of the functions under this synopsis.
