SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY!� This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.� All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 334519. The size standard for this NAICS is 600 employees.�� The requirement is to provide an Instron 1500HDX Static Servohydraulic Test System.for USAFA/DFCE to support civil engineering courses for cadets as well as research testing. DFCE houses multiple machines that are SATEC/Instron brand so any components will need to be interoperable. If your organization is not able to provide a SATEC/Instron compatible solution, but is capable to supplying an alternative solution that meets the salient characteristics listed below, respond with technical data and pricing information. Salient Characteristics:� Capacity 1500 kn (337,500 lbs) +/- 38 lbs Hydraulic Test System with Dual Test Spaces with Open-Front Crosshead Upgrade Software compatible to Windows 10 professional operating system Metals Application Module TestProfiler TestCam video recording & playback module with USB cable & camera mounting Computer and monitor is supplied by customer Jaw Faces, flat horizontal, specimen thickness 0 to 35 mm (0 to 1.4in) Jaw Faces, flat horizontal, specimen thickness 35 to 70mm (1.4 to 2.75in) Jaw Faces, vee horizontal, specimen diameter 12 to 45mm (0.5 to 1.75in) Jaw Faces, vee horizontal, specimen diameter 45 to 70mm (1.75 to 2.75in) Software Training: Detailed onsite software operation and usage instruction for up to 3 operators Set-up of specimen parameters, test control parameter, report templates, results calculations setup for applications Development or conversion up to 5 test methods Overview of test method results and report Review of user�s application needs Detailed testing of customer supplied specimens to validate/verify customer test methods and applications Include a 1-year manufacturer�s warranty and Include instruction booklet in both print and digital formats Be compatible with Bluehill Universal Software Include in your capabilities package your UEI, Cage Code, and System for Award Management expiration date. Vendor must be able to supply all requirements listed. No partial fulfillments will be considered. Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840. We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement.� The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying.� Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort.
