- Description
- This is a Request for Information (RFI). This is NOT a request for proposals or offers. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing vendor responses to this market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendors expense. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for interested and capable parties to provide Engineering and Integration services for the FAA Low Code Application Platform (LCAP) tools and collaboration/work management tools. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from businesses capable of providing the engineering and integration support services for LCAPs utilized by the FAA. The responses to this RFI will help determine future acquisition strategies. The FAA aims to take steps to achieve cost savings and improve user experience through the implementation of digital tools and software systems. This will reduce costs, improve the citizen experience, maximize the use of resources, and introduce consistency and standardization. The FAAs technology strategy, which focuses on improving data quality and analytics, automating manual activities, and increasing stakeholder satisfaction, includes a future-state architecture, roadmap, and governance model for modernizing the FAAs portfolio of legacy software applications. The FAA is preparing to implement and execute the roadmap, which includes projects for developing a portfolio of new applications, primarily using LCAP platforms, but will include other types of application platforms. To support the FAA and currently approved technologies, such as Pega, Appian and Salesforce or Smartsheets Gov, the FAA is requesting information from industry on the services they can provide to support the FAA when implementing any of these, or other, IT solutions. Vendors may be certified/authorized resellers of these products, or third-party integrators that can offer the FAA engineering and/or integration services to any or all of these products and more. Attached is a sample Statement of Work that includes sample tasks that may be in scope of the services. This is to assist with your responses and are solely for the purposes of this RFI. Please see the attached list of questions to be answered and submitted with your capability statement and any applicable experience. Please contact the FAA Contracting Officer, Jennifer.E.Biderman@faa.gov, for any questions related to this RFI.
