- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 200, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129 will be soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 07/01/2024 for construction services for the following project: Project# 603-23-102 - Replace Electrical Main Feeders and Switchgear at the Robley Rex VAMC, Louisville, KY 40206. SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS: 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $19 Million PROJECT OVERVIEW: The project will require the selected contractor to provide all resources necessary to accomplish and furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations as required per drawings and specifications located at the Robley Rex VAMC, Louisville, KY 40206 for the above-mentioned Project # 603-23-102 - Replace Electrical Main Feeders and Switchgear. Work includes, but not limited to replace individual switchgear components with new factory-reconditioned components, as required, to restore the equipment to reliable condition as shown and described in the project drawings and specifications. Anticipated completion time from Notice-to-Proceed is 240 calendar days for the entire project. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apparent successful offerors must have a current VETS 4212 report on file with the Department of Labor; be registered in SAM; and be registered in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) site at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be both verified by the SBA and visible on VetCert https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ at the time of proposal submission will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the SBA and submit the required documents to obtain verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so. Questions related to this requirement will only be addressed in writing by way of email to the Contracting Specialist Robert Glenn Jr at Robert.glenn2@va.gov. The Project Number, Project Name, and Solicitation Number must be included in the subject line of all questions related to this requirement.
