This is not a solicitation or request for quote and no purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), is soliciting for dry docking and repairs to NOAA ship Reuben Lasker. The Reuben Lasker is 208.6 feet long overall and its home port is San Diego, CA. The performance period will begin approximately 5 days after award for procurement of material and other planning and logistics required for the successful performance of the contract.� The performance period for work on board NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker will be approximately 86 calendar days, with a start date on or about February 1, 2024 and a completion date on or about April 13, 2024. Ship�s transit time to and from the place of performance is not included in the specified performance period.� A site visit is contemplated-but not guaranteed- TBD. FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit (APR 1984) Prospective offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker will be available for a Ship Check from August 14, 2024 from 8:00 Am � 2:00 PM PDT.
