Description
Tech Infrastructure- Structure Cabling Services The Embassy of the United States of America in Quito, Ecuador is seeking to contract specialized technical services to expand its telecommunications infrastructure in their compound building located at Quito, Ecuador. The contractor must enable 50 working points with 4 network jacks each. Labeling, tracing, faceplate installation, merging previous electrical plans. Mask test, tone generator usage if needed. Dismantled of previous cabling. And provide Certification for 50 workstations with 4 network points each. Design testing, codification, revision from Net panel to workstation. The proposal must include Labor, test equipment, tools, and PPE equipment. This work must be done according to the Contractor Officer representative (COR) requirements. The Contractor shall always keep the work area free from accumulation of waste materials. Upon completing the installation, the Contractor shall remove all temporary facilities, if installed and leave the project site in a clean and orderly condition acceptable to the COR. Furthermore, The Contractor shall provide the installation equipment (including tone generators, certifiers, ladders, crimping tools, cutters, and any other tool that the contractor will use) and shall always provide technical supervision during the execution of the installation according to the technical requirements in this SOW. The performance schedule shall be presented indicating commencement and completion of the entire project within the proposed contract completion schedule. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.� The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102, bidders are required to be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) at the time a quotation is submitted. The DBA insurance may be obtained from any authorized DBA insurance broker, see Sub-Section I.12, FAR 52.228-3 WORKER�S COMPENSATION INSURANCE (DEFENSE BASE ACT) (APR 1984).� New DBA insurances policies can be purchased directly from any DOL (Department of Labor) approved insurance carrier at the DOL website at http://www.dol.gov/owcp/dlhwc/lscarrier.htm The Contractor is required by FAR 52.228-5, ""Insurance - Work on a Government Installation"" to provide whatever insurance is legally necessary.� The Contractor, shall, at its own expense, provide and maintain during the entire performance period the following insurance amounts: General Liability (includes premises/operations, collapse hazard, products, completed operations, contractual, independent contractors, broad form property damage, personal injury) � (1)� Bodily injury on or off the site, stated in U.S. dollars: ��������������� Per Occurrence:�As per Ecuadorian Social Security (2)� Property damage on or off the site, stated in U.S. dollars: ��������������� Per Occurrence:�$5,000.00 ��������������� Cumulative:�$25,000.00 The Contractor shall obtain adequate insurance for damage to, or theft of, materials and equipment in insurance coverage for loose transit to the site or in storage on or off the site. The Contractor shall provide evidence of the insurance required under the purchase order by the time the installation services commence. As per FAR 652.236-70 the Contractor shall submit a Work Plan (WP) and the associated safety Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) to the COR for approval, two weeks prior to each service.
