- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date, and the place of performance will be in Geneva Switzerland area. The U.S. Mission in Geneva will launch the solicitation in the SAM website when it is available. The United States Mission of the United States of America in Geneva Switzerland seeks qualified companies to provide design and installation services for a new fire sprinkler system for approximately 571 square meters over two floors. The system will utilize an existing wet standpipe and local municipal water supply for the system. The U.S. Mission�in Geneva�requires services to design a fire sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 72, OBO Fire Sprinkler Specification, OBO Fire Alarm Specification, and other applicable codes and standards and install the fire sprinkler system while minimizing disruptions to functioning office space. This will be a firm fixed price contract and should include all costs associated with completion of the project to include, but not limited to, travel, survey, design, local permits, equipment, materials, installation, acceptance testing, overhead, and profit. The completed system will have a one-year warranty provided by the contractor. The installation requires cleared personnel to perform the work. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.� We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System of Award Management)database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
