The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Requirements (IDR) contract an intended minimum quantity of 72 each SEARCHLIGHT; NSN: 6230016539052; Part Number: 727-1198/02 applicable to the UH-60 BLACKHAWK. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 72 each, 540 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 72 each, 360 DACA with deliveries to TEXARKANA, TX, 75507-5000. This item is restricted to the following: LEONARD SPA, CAGE CODE: A1512 The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
