Description
Issuance of Sources Sought Notice only - DLA intends to definitize a one-year base CPFF contract against the Bell Boeing Captains of Industry Contract (COI) SPRPA1-17-D-009U for Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN) 0002 (SPRPA1-23-D-9002). The Period of Performance will be effective from 30 September 2024 until 29 September 2025. This requirement will satisfy CMV-22 Fleet Support and overall readiness of the CMV-22 weapons system. The contractor will definitize the activities, deliverables, and timeline to relocate the existing CV-22 Special Mission Aviator Ramp Trainer (SMART) from the Boeing Fort Walton Beach facility to Albuquerque, NM, and subsequently provide AFSOC SMART training time for Special Mission Aviator (SMA) training exercises.� This will include disassembling the SMART into modules that can be removed from the Boeing facility and transported to the designated facility in Albuquerque, NM. The contractor will supervise the loading of the modules for transportation from one facility to the other, and off-loading of the modules upon arrival in Albuquerque, NM. The contractor will transport the modules from Boeing Fort Walton Beach, FL to (address to be added), NM., re-assemble the SMART within the designated commercial facility, and integrate and test the SMART within the commercial facility. Additionally, the contractor shall ensure the SMART is available for up to 8 training hours per day, with 24 hours availability per week.� The contractor shall provide SMART Operators to execute the following responsibilities: Weekly coordination tag ups with AFSOC/AETC training staff to defined mission requirements etc., Adapt existing mission scenarios for SMART execution, Develop new mission scenarios for SMART execution, Launch and run missions with AFSOC Instructor(s) present to oversee the training, Coordinate with SMART Technical Support regarding operation of the SMART, Log issue reports, and resolve SMART issues, and Coordinate with AFSOC and Bluedrop representatives to schedule training sessions on the SMART. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. DLA-Aviation can only receive Source Approval Requests (SAR) through DoDSafe link due to internet/web safety concerns per Engineering.
