- VENDOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (Q&A) RFQ 36C10D24Q0221 VETERANS BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION ON-SITE READER SERVICES QUESTION: How many assignments are requested with 48 hours or less notice? ANSWER: New applicants are assigned to the Counselor every Tuesday. The Counselor sets their schedule for the week and schedules assignments. I cannot think of an example where there would be less than a 48-hr. notice of an assignment. QUESTION: What price is the VA currently paying for these services? ANSWER: The Regional Office is not currently paying for these services. QUESTION: Historically, how many emergency requests have been made? How much advance notice will we receive for emergency requests? ANSWER: There are not emergency requests in the VR&E Division. There may be financial transactions that have priority over other tasks, but this would not be considered an emergency situation, and this responsibility would be on the Counselor and not the Contractor. .
