Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order to Schuler Solutions on a sole source basis. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, the Contractor is the only known responsible source who can provide the services for the requirement listed below. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the NIH, National Eye Institute (NEI) intends to issue a purchase order modification Schuler Solutions to add funds for additional work within the Statement of Work.� Based on the findings in the initial phases of the OAM Leadership Retreat series, the project is being continued to address areas around trust, conflict, accountability, commitment, and the delivery of results. �It's imperative that gaps are addressed, staff learn and develop practical solutions to confront problems and issues quickly and cultivate a safe environment for staff to speak up. �Facilitated retreats, self-assessment sessions, team exploration and discussion need to continue into FY2025. �The additional activities are in support of the existing NEI OAM Leadership Series 2024 project for performance during Option Year 1 of the contract. �Activities will include:� 1) Project reporting and administration, 2) 12 Monthly OAM Leadership Retreat Meetings of 3-4 hours duration each (6 in person, 6 virtual), and 3) Creation and facilitation support for 3 OAM Best Practice/Process Improvement Work Groups of 6-month duration each.� The contractor will provide additional assistance to develop and document new administrative best practices, including the creation of and training to adopt standardized communication practices for OAM staff as they provide services to and collaborate with scientific staff. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it can fulfill the requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates the ability to satisfy the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that an award will be issued approximately five (5) days after�the date of this notice unless the Government determines that another company has the capability to satisfy this requirement.
