Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Los Angeles District (SPL), Survey and Mapping Section, has a requirement to provide A-E Services within the South Pacific Division (SPD) footprint primarily for the Los Angeles District (SPL), other SPD Districts, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies and International and Interagency Services (IIS) customers. SPL is synopsizing this requirement in accordance with the Brooks Act, with the intent of awarding one Small Business A-E IDIQ contract (Single Award Task Order Contract/SATOC) to support SPL A-E Survey and Mapping Services requirements. The USACE Survey and Mapping Section is a technical section that relies on specialized equipment and knowledge of the equipment to produce Surveying products. Each task order awarded on this SATOC will have a scope of work (SOW) developed that will specifically detail the performance requirements for that specific project. These A-E task orders under the awarded IDIQ may include, but are not limited to: aerial mapping, field surveying, hydrographic surveying, cadastral surveying, and geodetic surveys. The work and services may include photogrammetric mapping, airborne laser map compilation, analytical bridging, orthophotography, precise leveling, total station mapping, and boundary surveys, using conventional survey techniques and differential Global Positioning System (GPS). The work and services may include coastal and oceanographic engineering studies, which will require capabilities in marine field data collection, surveying, and mapping for navigation and shore protection Civil Works projects at various locations in the Los Angeles District (Southern California) and South Pacific Division (northern California and Oregon). SPL expects there can be some time sensitive tasking in order to respond with A-E services to contingency operations and natural disasters. The task order SOW will include, in detail, the required final deliverables and the period of performance for each task order. This synopsis for Survey and Mapping support engineering and other support civil engineering A-E services will result in one Small Business A-E IDIQ contract (Single Award Task Order Contract/SATOC) for $8.0M.
