Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Eisenhower, GA intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price base plus two One-year Options Service Contract with Steris Corporation. This procurement is for Steris sterile processing equipment and software support. The manufacturer is the sole provider of this proprietary service. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811210.�� The authority for this non-competitive award is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.� If no affirmative written responses are received by 17 October 2024, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
