Description
374th Contracting Squadron is seeking for vendors that can provide removal of exiting conveyor belt system, and design, fabrication, installation, orientation, test, adjustment, face to face instruction class for a brand new conveyor belt system to handle mail bags and parcels for Air Postal Squadron (AIRPS), Yokota AB, Japan. This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan, and the vendor needs to have valid license to conduct this type of business in Japan.� In addition, the government is considering adding on-site routine maintenance and emergency on-call service after the conveyors are installed,�which would require service personnel to be dispatched to the site within a few days of the government's call to the vendor.� This sources sought request for information is for the purpose of conducting market research to obtain market capability for planning purposes. Response is strictly voluntary, and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought, or any follow-up information requests. The Government SHALL NOT be liable, or suffer any consequential damages, for any improperly identified information. This is a market survey and notification of intent only. This requirement may be solicited at a future date. Additional information may be requested after initial response, either from individual respondents or all respondents.
