Description
****Amendment 0001**** Amendment serves to provide Government responses to contractor questions, incorporate revised S01 RFQ, and Revised Price Schedule.� See attachments. All changes made in RFQ are annotated with red text and/or left red line in margin.� No other terms or conditions are changed.�� Contractors must acknowledge amendment when submitting quote.� Quote due date and time remain unchanged. ****End of Amendment 0001**** This is a total (100%) small business set-aside. NAICS code is 541620 � Environmental Consulting Services, which has a size standard of $19.0 million. For more information on size standards, visit http://www.sba.gov/size. Government intends to award one (1) Blanket Purchase Agreement consisting of firm fixed price line items for cultural resources inventory services for a five (5) one (1) year ordering periods. Use of general or vague statements such as �standard procedures will be used� will not satisfy this requirement. Any quote that does not comply with these instructions may be considered non-responsive and rendered ineligible for award. Contractor SAM Representations and Certifications must be complete and accurate at time of quote submission. Iowa NRCS requires professional services from a Secretary of Interior (SOI) qualified consultant to assist with cultural resource inventories in Iowa for a period of five (5) years. Government will use Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to fulfill a portion of compliance requirements. Investigations of NRCS-Iowa undertakings will follow but are not limited to Section 106 of the NHPA and Association of Iowa Archaeologists Guidelines for Archaeological Investigations in Iowa. Annually, an estimate of 40 undertaking will need a cultural resources investigation which may include archaeological and/or historic architectural components. Undertakings will also include services for assessing unknown and known cultural resources within an area of potential effect. Contractors shall submit questions to Points of Contact by 10:00 AM CT on October 15, 2024. No questions will be answered verbally. Answers to questions will be posted to www.SAM.gov via solicitation amendment. Contractors shall submit quotes to Points of Contact no later than October 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM CT.
