Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.� Solicitation number SPE4AX-25-R-TF34ADDS1 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).��� The combined synopsis and solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) and Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD).� The associated NAICS code is 336413.� The government intends to add these parts to the current GE TF34 COI Contract, SPE4AX-20-D-9002. There are no established minimums or maximums.� All terms and conditions of that contract are in full force and effect. �� This agency proposes to add NSN 5995-017225011 from FSC 5995 to an existing long-term Captains of Industry contract for the TF34 engine. The NSN and associated Part Number is listed below. This item has been identified as sole source. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to General Electric, CAGE 99207. The proposed items are intended for addition to existing Captains of Industry contract SPE4AX-20-D-9002 under award to General Electric, CAGE 99207 (IAW FAR 6.302-1). It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in this NSN, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the closing date. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis / solicitation. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material / Procurement Note C04, or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein. The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� Description of Requirement: PN:�2929M42P01 FSC:�5995 NIIN:�017225011 Nomenclature:�CABLE ASSEMBLY,SPEC BEQ:�61 U/I:��EA Qualified Source:� Competition is limited as only one responsible source exists and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements.� General Electric (GE), CAGE 99207, is currently the only qualified source who can manufacture these parts.� The Government does not have rights to these parts, manufacturing, production or process data.� This information is proprietary to GE.� Specifications, plans, or drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
