- 1. Introduction: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Technology Research and Development (ATRD) Branch - Safety Section is inquiring to procure for a contractor to supply Airport Safety Standards, Operations, and Planning and Research and Development (R&D) support. 2. Nature of Competition: The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time. 3. General Information This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor�s expense 4. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541330- Engineering Services with a size standard of $25.5M. 5. Submittal Requirements Interested companies must provide the following information: � a. Capability Statement demonstrating the capability to perform the requirements in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW). Identify if you are capable of performing all or some of the requirements specified in the attached Draft SOW.� In the event you are identifying some, please specify which requirements you are and are not capable of performing. � b.� Examples of previous contracts, agreements, or completed commercial projects, showing experience providing similar services. Provide examples demonstrating your ability to conduct research projects to include technical expertise to develop project plans, coordinate activities, conduct testing, analyze data, and present findings within operational areas of airports.� Provide examples of performing data analysis on large datasets (aviation-related datasets or similar) to include the use of machine learning and data visualization. Provide examples of experience performing within the various operational areas of the airport environment. Any activities involving the federal government, or the development of regulatory guidance materials (i.e. advisory circulars, engineering briefs), should also be included. If applicable provide a list of all current Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST), FAA- Systems Engineering and Technical Innovation Solutions (SETIS), and GSA Advantage/Schedule Contracts. c. Business Size (Large or Small). If small please indicate if your firm is A Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Small Business (8(a) Certified), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, and/or Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business The submitted Capability Statement is LIMITED TO 7 PAGES and must be presented in Microsoft word in size 12 Times New Roman text. 6. Other (if applicable) The FAA will not be conducting a pre-proposal conference and/or a site visit prior to submittals in response to this market survey announcement.
