SYNOPSIS DATE: 28 OCTOBER 2024 CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: 3055 Rodman Ave, Rock Island, IL 61299-8000 SOLICITATION:� W519TC-25-R-2006 PSC CODE:� 8030, Preservative and Sealing Compounds NAICS CODE: 325520 � Adhesive Manufacturing SUBJECT: Polymeric Elastomer Thermosetting (Tuff Seal) CLOSING DATE RESPONSE: 12 NOVEMBER 2024 DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT A: Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited. Place of Performance:� McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP) 1 C Tree Road McAlester OK 74501 US Federal Supply Code (FSC) 8030, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325520, Adhesive Manufacturing.� Polymeric Elastomer Thermosetting (Tuff Seal), must be produced in accordance with MIL-DTL-82633A. Copies of this document are available online at https://quicksearch.dla.mil/assearch.aspx. �Vendors must be an approved source and registered on the ASSIST Website (https://assist.dla.mil) to view this specification. This acquisition will be solicited on a sole source basis to the approved source Abbey Color, Incorporated.� This procurement is for Tuff Seal is used in the production efforts of Air Force Penetrator Bombs.� The end user is the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant located in McAlester, OK.� FOB Destination. The proposed resulting contract will be a three-year indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery (IDIQ), firm-fixed-price contract with a three-year ordering period.� The Guaranteed minimum quantity is 38 Kits.� The contract maximum quantity is 494 Kits for a three year period.� Orders will be funded and placed on an as needed basis.� Any offerors interested in pursuing qualification for future requirements shall be responsible for complying with all of the costs associated with the pre-award qualification, manufacturing verification, and material restriction except for Government travel and Government testing.� The Government reserves the right to request a sample from any approved sources.� The sample, if requested, shall be presented to the Government for inspection within 30 days after the solicitation closing date for Government testing to determine compliance with all specifications to produce an acceptable Tuff Seal material. The Army Contracting Command � Rock Island intends to issue this Request for Proposal (RFP), W519TC-25-R-2006, on a sole source basis to Abbey Color, Incorporated.� Anticipated release date for the solicitation is on or about 13 January 2025 with a closing date approximately 30 days from the date of issuance. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to be eligible for award.� All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
