General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Missouri City: Kansas City Delineated Area: North: Hwy 71 and Hwy 92 to NW State Rte 92 to Hwy 169 East East: Hwy 169 East to Route 152 South: Route 152 to Hwy 435 East West: Hwy 435 East to Hwy 71 to Hwy 92 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 20,549 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 21,576 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 30 Parking Spaces (Secured/Reserved): 30 Full Term: 15 Years Firm Term: 10 Years Option Term: One, 5-year option Additional Requirements: In a multi-tenant and multi-story building, an elevator controlled by a card reader system must be provided and controlled access by the government. No co-location with the following: Private firms whose primary clientele are involved in or have ties to criminal elements. Agencies providing probation and/or parole services. Agencies providing drug abuse consolations/rehabilitation programs. Agencies providing social services. Halfway houses. Residential units. Drug-free zones; schools and parks cannot be within 1,000 feet of the location. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.� A fully serviced lease is required.� Offered space shall not be in the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain (formerly referred to as �100-year� floodplain). Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).��For more information, visit: https://acquisition.gov/FAR-Case-2019-009/889_Part_B. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Kansas City, Missouri, that will be expiring.� The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.� In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
