NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE FOR FWS OFFICE OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR, NM for LONG TERM STORAGE TO APACA MOVING & STORAGE INC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. To APACA MOVING & STORAGE INC 423 WYOMING BLVD SE ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87123 USA The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 493110 - General Warehousing and Storage, $34 Million. � The object of this sole source award to APACA MOVING & STORAGE INC is for long-term storage. The R2 regional office is relocating and commending a move in less than a week. A long-term storage facility is required prior to the start of the move. A purchase order is in place with a moving company to relocate the region's belongings to the selected storage facility. If a contract is not established between the USFWS and the moving company, the relocation will not be possible. The USFWS is losing their current office space before the end of November, 2024. This request is extremely time sensitive and urgent in nature. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
