- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for SOURCES SOUGHT only. The Government has a requirement for repair to a fleet vehicle (2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, automatic AWD 2.4L Gasoline engine) involved in a front-end accident. Repairs are need for, but not limited to, front bumper, radiator, and AC/heating system. Government will transport vehicle to vendor s worksite which must be within 50 miles of the Fort Meade VA Medical Center 57741. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR PRICING AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) will be treated only as information for the Government to consider as part of their market research efforts. The information provided will be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy regarding possible set aside for Veteran Owned and other socio-economic categories of small business. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI and parties responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in responding to this RFI. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811111, General Automotive Repair- with a SBA Small Business Size Standard of $9.0 million. PSC is J023, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Ground Effect Vehicles, Motor Vehicles, Trailers, and Cycles. Your response must address capabilities (to include ASE and/or I-CAR certification) specific to the service required in the below Item Description, in addition to all other information required below. 1. Please identify any of your firm s existing contract vehicles (e.g., GSA federal supply schedules) which provide commodities similar to those described. 2. Please provide all social-economic categories of your firm (e.g., SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Large Business, 8a, etc.) as well as your firm s SAM Unique Entity ID number (replaces DUNS number) and Government Contract POC. General Intention: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the following services for: Rehabilitation of the Grey 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport, automatic AWD 2.4L Gasoline engine. II. Background: the fleet vehicle was in a front-end accident; from the initial estimate the vehicle will need removal and replacement of the front bumper and all labor and necessary materials. The removal and replacement of the radiator including all labor and necessary materials. Fixing the Air conditioning and Heating system to get back to operating condition including all labor and necessary materials. Fixing the Engine system to get back to operating condition including all labor and necessary materials. III. General Requirements: Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to accomplish work elements and requirements outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall field-verify all information in the SOW is accurate. Changes: Any work that is not addressed by the contract and is considered a change and shall be immediately brought to the attention of the Contracting Officer. No out-of-scope or additional work shall be executed prior to negotiation with and approval by the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall record all quantities of materials removed from the vehicle and submit report to the COR. IV. Work Elements: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the following services.
