Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). The purpose of this notice is to identify sources capable of performing the required services in this geographic location within the period of time required. Information provided will be used to help determine the government's procurement strategy. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Quotes received will not be considered and no award will be made from this sources sought notice. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, Spokane Sector is seeking sources for janitorial, grounds maintenance, snow removal, pest control, and trash removal services for Whitefish Border Patrol Station and Eureka Border Patrol Station located at: Whitefish Station: 1335 Hwy 93 West Whitefish, MT 59937 Eureka Station: 7695 Airport RD Eureka, MT 59917 The Government contemplates awarding a contract that includes the following base year and option years: Base Year: March 18, 2025 - March 17, 2026 Option Year 1: March 18, 2026 - March 17, 2027 Option Year 2: March 18, 2027 - March 17, 2028 Option Year 3: March 18, 2028 - March 17, 2029 Option Year 4: March 18, 2029 - March 17, 2030 The specific work requirements are provided in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS is subject to change prior to solicitation issuance. If interested, please respond by submitting the following information to the contracting officer, Eric Neckel, at eric.r.neckel@cbp.dhs.gov: 1. Your business name, address, contact information, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and CAGE code. Please state whether you have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. 2. Whether you qualify as a small business concern under NAICS code 561720 - Janitorial Services. The corresponding size standard is $22.0 million. 3. Whether you are an eligible small business concern under any of the following small business programs: the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program, the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program, the HUBZone Program, or the 8(a) Program. 4. A description of your experience providing janitorial, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and trash removal services. If you have had previous contracts that are relevant to this requirement, please cite them. Respondents are encouraged to cite experience in or near these locations or other remote areas. 5. A statement describing the extent to which you possess the necessary personnel, equipment, facilities, and management capabilities to successfully perform the work at the locations specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 6. Any relevant questions or comments that you have Responses are due by January 6, 2024, by 10:00 a.m. EST. Responses must be submitted by e-mail to the contract specialist, Eric Neckel, at eric.r.neckel@cbp.dhs.gov. Include the words �Sources Sought Notice #20148379� in the subject line of your e-mail. This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation (RFQ), and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract. Furthermore, the Government will not pay for the information submitted in response to this request. All information contained in this SSN is preliminary, subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. Responding to this SSN is not required; failing to respond will not negatively affect a vendor�s eligibility under any future solicitation that is issued. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary information contained in their response.
