- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE W15QKN-25-X-14NN GAU-19 Weapons, tools, parts and accessories The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of Program Manager Soldier Lethality is conducting a market research to identify potential sources/vendors capable of supplying the GAU-19 12.7�99mm three-barrel rotary machine gun weapon system along with mounting systems for various air/water/ground platforms, parts, accessories, support equipment, installation and training for operators and maintainers. Parts and accessories will include power supplies, spare part kits, spare barrels, support equipment should include maintenance kits and special tools packages. In responding to this Market Survey respondents should provide the following information: A detailed description of your capability to deliver GAU-19 systems, mounting systems, parts, accessories, and support equipment listed above. A list of the platforms the weapons system is can be mounted on along with a description of the mounting systems and qualification information. Also provide Air Worthiness Release (IAW AR 70-62) information for all air platform configurations (C/M-47 and U/M-60 at a minimum). A description of your capability to install the GAU-19 and mounting system on the above platforms within the continental United States (US) and well as outside the continental US. A detailed description of the training courses to support training requirements within the continental US as well as outside the continental US. Details should include technical descriptions, list of components, available warranties, pricing data if available. SUBMISSION INFORMATION: Vendor Questionnaire: The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information from industry to assist in the market research. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interest and capability to satisfy the above requirements by identifying the following items: 1. Company Name 2. Company Address 3. Company point of contact, email address and phone number 4. Major partners or Suppliers 5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 332994. With small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Based on this information is your business considered a small business? If so, please identify as either Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business Please provide DUNS number, SAM number, and cage code. 6. Commerciality: a. ( ) Our product as described above, has been sold leased or licensed to the general public. b. ( ) Our product as described above, has been sold in substantial quantities, on a competitive basis to multiple state, local, and foreign governments. The development of the product was done exclusively at private expense. c. ( ) None of the above applies. Explain. 7. Location where primary work will be performed (if more than one location, please indicate the percentage for each location) 8. Identify manufacturing, managing and engineering experience of like systems of equal or greater complexity 9. Identify existing facilities, equipment and workforce (identify what percentage would be supporting this new effort and what additional resources would be required) 10. Identify lead time, including supplier/design qualification efforts and production ramp up time. Also identify minimum order quantities required to fulfill delivery orders. 11. Provide rough indication of pricing and any pricing data. 12. Please provide any additional comments Response: Firms/Companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video and other technical data as well as identification of current customers and rough indication of pricing. Any hardcopy information provided will not be returned. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
